What We Do

Organic Farming

Choosing organic is often seen as an ethical choice that supports farming practices that are thought to be better for people and the planet. Consumers and farmers alike may choose organic farming to promote a more sustainable and equitable food system.
Organic farming also faces challenges, such as lower yields compared to conventional farming and higher production costs.

The Harvest

Harvesting at the right time and in the right way can greatly enhance the quality and quantity of your yield. Enjoy the fruits of your labor by consuming fresh produce, preserving excess through canning, freezing, or drying, and sharing with friends and family.

Plant Seeds

Select seeds based on your climate, soil type, and sunlight availability. Consider starting with native or well-adapted plants for your area, as they are more likely to thrive. Once seedlings emerge and grow a few sets of true leaves, thin them out by removing the weaker seedlings. This gives the remaining plants enough space to grow strong and healthy.

Why Chehar Farm ?

Organic farming practices are designed to reduce pollution and conserve water and soil quality. By avoiding chemical pesticides and fertilizers, organic farming reduces the risk of water pollution and builds healthier, more fertile soil through the use of natural composting methods, cover crops, and crop rotations.
Some studies suggest that organic foods may offer health benefits, such as higher levels of certain nutrients and lower levels of pesticide residues. While research is ongoing, this potential for health benefits is a significant draw for many consumers.
